Back in the Game

It’s time for me to begin blogging again.  I really love The Underworld Chronicles, I still love Apprentice to a Madman, and I love the possibilities for Aeonstone Quest.  Now I need an agent, or publisher, to agree with me.

Remember the Jack Handy quote, “Perhaps, if I am very lucky, the feeble efforts of my lifetime will someday be noticed, and maybe, in some small way, they will be acknowledged as the greatest works of genius ever created by man.”
That pretty much sums up my life goals.  Is that so hard?

Oh wow, I’ve actually never heard that quote but I started laughing so hard when I read it 🙂

Rashida, any of Jack Handy’s quotes are going to be ridiculously fun. Such as: “I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they’d never expect it.”

Hi Mrs Nielsen! So I was looking back at some of your earliest posts, and you mention Apprentice to a Madman multiple times. Did you ever end up getting it published???

Nope – AtoM had some significant flaws. I couldn’t see them at the time, but I do now. However, everything that was right with the manuscript came forward into my current writing, and what was left behind – including the manuscript itself – should have been left behind.

LOL. That is my current life goal right now, but it looks like you made it. Maybe there’s hope for me… 🙂
