Books Make the Best Gifts!

giphyIf you’re reading this blog, my guess is you will A) Ask for a gift this holiday; B) Give a gift this holiday; or C) BOTH (yay for both!). And of course you are planning to put books on your wish list, right?

Now let’s be clear. I think it’d be great if my books were included as gifts, but there are so many amazing books out there by truly wonderful authors. The important thing is to find the right book for the right reader.

If you want a signed copy of any of my books, the best way to get it is to order it from The King’s English Bookstore. When you check out, there will be a place for Notes. That’s where you put the name of who you want the book personalized to. I’ll sign it, they’ll ship it to you, you’ll wrap it. Bada-bing!

If you want any of my books, and don’t care if they’re signed, then please shop first at your local bookstore.

The best thing that could happen would be finding that the False Prince will get a movie! My friend photoshoped a tweet of you saying “YAY! Making a movie for The False Prince!” as a prank. I srsly believed it. When I checked your account and couldn’t find your tweet she told me it was a prank. I was so heartbroken </3 All my friends know my obsession of your book The False Prince. I make everyone read it! XD

Ack – what a mean joke! The earliest I expect any movie news is February, and even then it might end up being a “no news” sort of report (fingers crossed for anything else, though). Thanks so much for recommending the book to others – that is the best of compliments!

If they say no movie. When I grow up I shall make the movie myself and it will be perfecto!

My teacher this year assigned us those reading journals every day. Before it was once or twice a week and kids could get away with not reading much but this year all my friends that don’t read were going crazy trying to find good books to read so I recommended The False Prince though I think it was meant for middle graders and we’re freshmen, but it’s an amazing read anyhow. Anyways every single person that read it loved it and I finally have people to fangirl with 😀 I also have another friend reading it right now and she’s a fan of the Divergent series. It makes me giddy to know that now whenever she mentions the name Tobias I’ll have to ask if she’s talking about the one from Divergent or the one from the False Prince.

Ha! Yes, Rashida, those two Tobias characters are very similar. Thanks for the recommendations!

The False Prince and The Mark of the Thief were the best books I have ever read. I can’t wait until I can get Rise of the Wolf.
